Bill Clinton insists Trump supporters mainly live in the southern US. If Mr. Clinton weren't filled with prejudice, he might know about Trump's landslide victories in 2016's Acela Corridor primaries in which he won every county in the 5 northeast states of Pennsylvania, Delaware, Maryland, Connecticut, and Rhode Island, a week after his dominating win in New York state. None of these states is in the south. Mr. Clinton demonstrates he's unfit to appear on any campaign trail

Bill Clinton apparently never heard about Trump's landslide victories in 2016's Acela Corridor elections. Clinton insists the base of Trump supporters live in the southern US:

Oct. 12, 2016, "'No, I didn't say that. I don't think they all are:' Bill Clinton says he never called Trump's supporters 'rednecks' - he was saying that about himself and he's not 'ashamed of it'," Daily Mail, by Francesca Chambers, White House Correspondent For Dailymail.com In Ames, Iowa

"Today the Arkansas-native (Bill Clinton) said, 'Just remember, I grew up in the culture that is now Hillary's opponent's (Trump's) base. Some of them believe things that we'll never believe and would never accept.'

He insisted...that the term redneck is 'sociological' and 'applies to basically white working class protestant southerners' like himself."...
.....
Bill Clinton and the Washington Post agree. They say don't go looking for Trump supporters in the Northeast US states that comprise the apparently upscale "Acela Corridor":

To the Washington Post:
Republicans had "Acela Corridor" elections this year in the primaries. Trump won every county in all 5 northeast states in the Acela Corridor primaries-- winning landslides of more than 30 percentage points over his rivals, a week after his dominating performance in New York state (also a state in the northeast US):

4/27/16, "Trump wins every county in 'Acela primaries'," The Hill, Jesse Byrnes

"Donald Trump won every county on Tuesday night
in the five Northeastern states that held primaries, sweeping up more delegates in his quest to lock up the GOP nomination.

Trump won each county in Pennsylvania, Delaware, Maryland, Connecticut and Rhode Island, including Pennsylvania's Allegheny County, where rival  John Kasich was born.

Trump also won every congressional district in Pennsylvania, Maryland and Delaware to pick up more delegates. He won all but six districts in Connecticut and one in Rhode Island, which Kasich took.

The decisive win moved Trump closer to the GOP presidential nomination, which requires a candidate to win 1,237 delegates nationally."...

"He (Trump) won among the affluent and college-educated as well as with blue-collar voters and those with no more than a high school education."...

4/27/16, "Donald Trump Sweeps 5 States; Hillary Clinton takes 4," New York Times, Healy, Martin

"Mr. Trump had the more convincing performance on Tuesday: He swept all five primaries (Pennsylvania, Connecticut, Delaware, Maryland, Rhode Island) winning landslides of more than 30 percentage points over his rivals, Senator Ted Cruz of Texas and Gov. John Kasich of Ohio....He received more than half the vote in every state....The broad support for Mr. Trump spanned some of the dividing lines that have characterized the Republican race until now: He won among the affluent and college-educated as well as with blue-collar voters and those with no more than a high school education, according to exit polls....Mr. Trump’s advantage across all five states was so forbidding that Mr. Cruz abandoned the Northeast entirely on Saturday....Not only did Mr. Trump have significant prospects for a substantial delegate haul Tuesday, a week after his dominating performance in New York, he also had the opportunity to send a clear message to party leaders and other Republicans that resistance to his nomination is futile."... ...................

Washington Post again:

The Oct. 4, 2016 Washington Post article figured out Trump's appeal in Ohio: It's really a Southern state (you know, stupid and racist):

"
Though Ohio was in the union during the civil war, this region is culturally Southern. Most here migrated from Kentucky or Tennessee in search of good-paying factory jobs—or their parents did. Driving around town, I spotted a Confederate flag with a middle finger superimposed in the middle. Both of that man’s neighbors had Trump signs in their yards."...(The person with the Confederate flag did NOT have a Trump sign in his yard---but his neighbors did--so there you go!)

10/4/16, "The Daily 202: Want to know why Trump’s winning Ohio? Drink a beer with ‘the deplorables’ in Boehner’s old district." Washington Post, James Hohmann, Middletown, Ohio

.......................................

Added: More Bill Clinton bigotry on the campaign trail: While campaigning in Florida (10/11) and Iowa (10/12) this week, Bill Clinton made blanket statements about people in West Virginia:

'First of all,' he said at the Florida rally, West Virginians 'only watch Fox News.'...

In Indianola, Iowa, on Wednesday he also asserted that the 'number one source of income' in West Virginia 'is a disability check.'"...
